Here is how the Summer Reading program works:
1. Select and read stories or information that you are interested in (any parent-approved books,
Storia®, eReader/eBook, magazine, news source, or web-based text will do).

2. Log your daily reading!

You have a few options for keeping a log or tracking minutes read. Pick the one that works for you and your school:
Rising 1st Grade Log
Rising 2nd Grade Log
Rising 3rd Grade Log
Rising 4th Grade Log
Rising 5th Grade Log
Rising 6th Grade Log


3. Submit your log when you return to school on the 1st or 2nd day. All Super Readers will be recognized for their efforts when school begins!



  • The daily goal is 15-30 minutes K-1, 20-30 grades 2-3, and 30-60 minutes 4+.
  • Parents and/or Guardians should initial minutes logged.
